This site was mentioned by some fellow Hanawalt teachers during a staff meeting. After checking it out, I not only knew I needed to add a link, but to also use it with computer lab instruction. This is an excellent site for kids and families to get practice and have fun doing it! NEW!!!

Prodigy.com is a site that has reading ("English") and math activities and games. Mr. Tutt has usernames and passwords that his students will need to get into Prodigy. |

Splash Learn is a great way to get practice in math AND reading. You can surf Splash Learn, and Mr. Tutt will also give you assignments. You will need a class code and password to be able to use SplashLearn. If you are not in Mr. T's class this year, you will not have access to this site. Math Fact Café - Flashcard Practice
This site provides flashcards for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division for first through fifth graders. There are also links to create worksheets for those operations AND for time and money practice! |

ANOTHER fantastic math site that I MOST STRONGLY recommend for parents who are working with their kids in math. This site is nicely laid out, covering all the concepts taught in elementary math, and provides challenges for the struggling, grade level and above-grade level student from kindergarten to sixth grade. |

You need to contact Big T to get the username and password to access this site. Yet ANOTHER amazing site from Scholastic.com. This site is somewhat similar to BookFlix, but all the books are non-fiction. You can read books from so many interest areas, or the books can be read to you. There are GREAT activities that are also linked from each book. This site is a real winner for those who love to read to learn! getepic.com
